Adult, Preschool and Elementary Curriculum:
The curriculum of John Paul II: School of Polish
Language & Culture incorporates language, culture, and history. Learning takes place in a family oriented, warm atmosphere that
encourages learning and creativity.
Adult students have classes:
Summer/Fall
Group A: Monday 6:30-9:30pm
Group B: Wednesday 6:30-9:30pm
Preschool and Elementary
students have classes: Summer/Fall
Sundays 2:00-5:00 pm.

The school is affiliated with and
receives official Swiadectwa from, the Polish Supplementary School
Council of America, Inc. in New York, which is in contact with the Polish Ministry of Education
and Science, and receives books and curriculum
guidelines from the Polish Teachers Association in America, Inc.
In addition to classroom
learning, the school encourages learning in the home, through
parent-student interaction in Polish and homework. Also, the
school holds at least two events per year, especially around the
holidays, in order to celebrate culture and traditions with the larger
community of Gainesville and Queen of Peace Church.

Enrollment:
The initial enrollment in the
school includes 15 preschool and elementary students, 10 adults, with a faculty of a principal, vice principal, two primary teachers,
two board of directors, a public relations director, a publicity consultant and
a technology consultant. The school welcomes new interested families and hopes to expand class
sizes and add additional levels of education.

Costs:
Tuition covers 30 weeks of
school, and is divided into monthly payments. Tuition for a
family with one child is $327.37 per 30 weeks. Tuition for a
family of two children is $ 572. 25 for thirty weeks, and tuition for
a family with three children is $ 694. 88 for 30 weeks. Monthly
tuition payments are due the 1st Sunday of each month. The
payments vary, depending on the number of Sundays in a particular
month. Students receive a letter to take home on the last Sunday
of each month regarding the upcoming payment.
There is a one-time registration
fee of $37 per student, to cover administrative and legal fees.
Teacher and parent evaluations of
language proficiency and maturity, place the student in the
appropriate class level. Parents then order and pay for
textbooks through the administration.

Getting Started:
Upon enrolling, each student
receives a packet of information regarding school policies, payments,
student-information forms to be filled out and returned, and a
calendar of school events. Every month, the student will receive the
upcoming month's payment plan, and a monthly newsletter. Additional information will be given by the student's teacher.
