Newsletter:
Fall 2007 Focus for the Fall Semester (Preschool and Elementary)Teachers and administration have
decided to focus on active learning, meaning learning that engages
students, such as dialogues, educational games, and more student-teacher
interaction. The third hour of each class will be a more social
hour and include Polish dance lessons, music, and/or Polish short films.
Adult Class
SPLC now
has an adult class, which meets every Thursday from 7-9 pm. The first
hour focuses on language, and the second hour focuses on culture.
Please contact SPLC if you would like to join at any time.
Polish MassesFr. Kazimierz has kindly organized Polish Masses once a month for the school and the general community. Masses are held at the Queen of Peace Church Chapel. Mass dates are as follows: September 30th, 2pm
October 28th, 2pm
November 25th, 2pm
December 30th, 2pm
DonationsIf parents would like to donate student supplies such as crayons, construction paper, safe scissors, glue sticks, stickers, and plain white paper, please bring materials to a teacher or administration.
